OREGGIVENTURES
The firm

Oreggi Ventures is an independent advisory firm working across business strategy, executive management, venture development and leadership.

Each engagement is shaped around the situation at hand and the level of involvement the work requires.

The firm draws first on decades of international executive experience. Strategic and operational business methods, alongside psychometric and behavioral insight, add depth to that perspective. Together, they help us understand both the business and the people making decisions within it.

Our perspective

How we think

We begin with the underlying question, not the most visible symptom. That means testing assumptions, looking at how the parts of a business affect one another, and considering how a decision may change the wider system of people, incentives and operations. The aim is to reach a course of action that makes sense in the client’s actual circumstances.

Our involvement

How we work

The scope of each mandate follows what the work needs. Oreggi Ventures may advise, work alongside a leadership team, or take on defined executive responsibility within a business. Where complementary expertise is needed, the firm works with trusted independent professionals selected for the mandate.

Experience and perspective

Sebastian Radu

Sebastian Radu is an entrepreneur and senior executive with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling and commercializing digital businesses, technology platforms and participation ecosystems.

Throughout his career, he has founded companies and held CEO, chairman and other senior executive roles across Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, combining strategic thinking with hands-on responsibility for growth, operations and leadership.

During his decade-and-a-half tenure with ESL, a global leader in esports, Sebastian served in executive and governance roles, helping drive international expansion, strategic partnerships, platform growth and participation ecosystems that engaged millions of participants and hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide. His experience spans strategy, commercialization, ecosystem development, governance and operational execution across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. ESL was later acquired at a valuation of more than US$1 billion.

Across other executive mandates, Sebastian has worked with ventures and established businesses at points where strategic direction had to become a product, an operating model or a new stage of growth. His mandates have included building companies and bringing products to market, turning around operations, leading strategic pivots and guiding organizations through leadership transitions and reorganizations after acquisition. A recurring thread in this work is understanding how people, incentives, information and organizational structures interact. His approach draws on first-principles thinking, disciplined execution and a long-term view of value creation.

Sebastian is also an executive advisor and entrepreneurship mentor at IE Business School, working with founders and leadership teams on the decisions involved in building a business. His work with executives focuses on self-awareness, behavioral patterns and the leadership choices that shape how people and organizations perform.
